3D studio
Hauts-de-France
Our 3D studio is in Roubaix, in the Lille area. We make 3D product films, motion design, VFX and virtual reality.
FAKE IT
Romain Czysz and Tom Pelerin-Bouilhol founded FAKE IT, a 3D animation and VFX studio in Roubaix. We work for brands, agencies, studios and industrial groups in the Hauts-de-France region, in Paris and abroad.
We do the whole film in-house. We handle VFX supervision, 3D modeling and animation, Houdini simulation, compositing, grading and sound. We use generative AI locally or in the cloud, depending on the production and on your confidentiality rules.
For Decathlon, we turned a 3D scan of the BG500 boxing glove into a product film. We have also built virtual reality projects for large industrial groups.
Lille is 1 h from Paris, 1 h 20 from London and 35 min from Brussels by high-speed train. Meeting in person is easy, and we’re used to working remotely.

Questions
Do you only work with companies in the Lille area?
No. We’re in Roubaix, but we work across Northern France, in Paris, in Belgium and abroad. If you’re nearby, meetings and shoots are easier.
How much does a 3D animation cost?
It depends on the length, the level of detail and the number of formats. French studios publish ranges from a few thousand euros for a short animation to several tens of thousands for a TV commercial. For an exact figure, send us a brief.
