Special effects or visual effects?
Special effects (SFX) are done on set, like explosions, rain or prosthetics. Visual effects (VFX) are done afterwards, on a computer, in post-production. Our CGI vs VFX guide explains the differences in detail.

VFX supervision
A VFX supervisor prepares the shots that need effects. During the shoot, they advise the crew so the footage can be used later (references, measurements, lighting). Then they follow the work up to compositing. When the supervisor is part of the studio that makes the effects, you save time and avoid surprises.
Post-production
We do the compositing, grading and sound design of every film we deliver.

VFX for films, commercials and music videos
We do the visual effects for short films, commercials and music videos. That means 3D integration, simulations, shot clean-up and compositing. NEVER STOP is a full-CG short film we made from start to finish.
The French tax rebate for international productions
We are established in France and we make our VFX in France, so our work counts in the eligible spending of the French tax rebate (TRIP). It also counts toward the €2M of French VFX spending that raises the rebate to 40%. We don’t file the application. Your French production services company does that. Our guide to the French tax rebate explains the details.
